sponsorship brochures are ready for distribution! Look for a copy on this
website or printed versions at key kayak rental outlets and Basin visitors

We hope everyone has seen the great articles in area newspapers lately about the water trail. These articles are providing good information about how to use the trail for short day paddles or for longer trips. The best of these articles are found [here]. Please send an email to the LTWT at info@LakeTahoeWaterTrail.org if you can help spread the word or are aware of other published writings about the Trail. We’d love to have more articles linked to our website, so just let us know.

The California Tahoe Conservancy, California State Parks, Nevada State
Parks, and the US Forest Service are organizing the initial steps in
preparation of the Lake Tahoe Water Trail Plan. In the next several
months, these agencies will be preparing a public input process to be sure
that the plan reflects public concerns about LTWT operation, management,
facilities, and outreach. The LTWT Committee expects to be part of this
process and we will be sure all our members receive notice and information
about the process. (Another reason to join!!) See
you on the lake!!
