Check back often to see if anyone dropped it This course is designed for the outdoor enthusiast who wishes to learn the basics of sea kayaking skills. Students will spend the majority of the course on beautiful Lake Tahoe. Topics include: familiarization with equipment, basic paddling skills, overview of rescue techniques, and boating safety. Students are required to provide all necessary equipment (kayak, PFD (Personal Flotation Device), etc.) for this course. Rentals are available locally and a vendor list will be distributed at an orientation meeting. The approximate cost for renting the equipment is $20.00. SUMMER 2007 CLASSES WILL BE: |
