Parking
Regardless of  where you start your paddling adventure around the lake, you will likely need to park a vehicle and perhaps arrange for shuttle service. There are several long term parking options surrounding the lake.

Long Term Parking Locations:


Tahoe City:
64 acre parking lot / trailhead. #139 on the guide. Located on the Truckee River just below the dam and Bridgetender restaurant. Parking here is at your own risk. Do not leave valuables in car.

South Lake Tahoe:
City of South Lake Tahoe recreation complex offers free parking at rear of lot for paddlers. Located at 1180 Rufus Allen Blvd. adjacent to Campground by the Lake #49 on the guide. Please make arrangements by calling 530-542-6056.

Lakeland Village #23 on the guide offers 3 day parking with 1 night paid stay. Please call 530-541-7711 for reservations and arrangements.

Stateline Nevada:
Lakeside Inn at casinos #6 on the guide offers free parking at back of lot for Lake Tahoe Water Trail paddlers. Please check with front desk to make arrangements or call 775-588-2787.

Venice Drive east of Tahoe Keys Blvd:
City street posted for 72 hour parking. Provides easy access to Tahoe Keys Marina and upper Truckee River outlet. Please do not lock valuables in car.
